How does 3d without glasses work?

I think the 3ds is another great hit for Nintendo. on the other hand some people don't oh this 3d without glasses works is easy. a 3d image is created by two pictures slightly off from each other. like are eyes. but the 3d with glasses shoots one projector rec and the other blue, this is were the glasses come in, then the blue rays got to the red lens and the red to the blue lens. this is a problem Nintendo ran into now since they don't use glasses the have to use something to point each light into the correct eye. so they used PARALLAX BARS those things look like the little slits on your vent that point the air in a certain direction.well that's the basics on how the 3ds works.

POEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Natures Orphan

By: Joshua Koch

I was just torn from my mother,
Feel the wind hit my face as I hope to land safe,
I hit the ground and sank to quickly,
I hear nothing but above me,
I wait and wait as I find myself soon to grow!
I burst like a rocket spread my leaves and feel the breeze,
I ponder of my life were I came from,
I sit awhile all alone in the plains,
And soon to find myself to have some kids!
They soon set off on their own adventure,
They went through what I went through just like and orphan just like me.

Earth says why?

By: Joshua Koch

What have you done to me!
So smooth and glee,
Oil, Technology, Houses!
What have you done to me?
I am like a leaf, falling from falls work,
I hit the ground and never come back,
What have you done to me, Oh what have you done to me.

How Chess Started

How Chess Started
“Let’s keep the horse man here” “and move the foot men here” the Indians said as they were discussing there war plan… on the original chess board.
The earliest history and origins of chess is surrounded by legends, myths and fairy tales that speak of the magical powers hidden in the game. It’s a very interesting game. It’s at least 1500 years old! And people still play it daily. The original chess board was used for war plans! Yes it did, on an even more original chess board called Chaturanga.
Chaturanga is almost just like chess. Both chess and Chaturanga are set up just like an old Indian army would be set up for battle. There is also a Chinese chess (foundation unknown). Chaturanga started by Indians setting up there army for a war, but then they changed it into a game, a game of chance by rolling a dice which enables you to move your pieces in different ways. And there have been different games of chaturanga, like one that you start off in the corners of the board, or one that uses 10 pieces, or one that you play with four players. What I’m trying to say is that chatarunga is the only game that people have taken and made their own game out of it. But no one has done that with chess…yet.
Spreading east, Chaturanga went through China, Korea, and Japan. After the Islamic conquests, then chaturanga made its way to Persia were they called it by two names: chaturang: Persian name, and Shatranj: Arabic name. Chaturanga traveled to Europe by the spread of Islam Sicily and the Moorish invasion. Trade routes through Europe made it spread more through the continent and throughout Russia. By the 10th century it developed so many types and games it turned to the game we know it today Chess!
Modern day chess is very different then back then we play fairly, friendly, do tournaments, and competitions. You might play chess just as good as anybody else, but the people that never believe they’ll be great chess players, become famous chess players. Like Wiswanathan Anand he started as a kid and now he is the best chess player in the world! Chess now a day is all over the place. From New York, to Washington to Alaska! It’s amazing how fast it spread. Chess today is widely spread. And know they have chess boards like: Mario and Luigi chess, family guy chess, and don’t fret chess. If you really think about it, chess today and all over the world and even back in the days is all the same.  Chess is all related!
I think this revolution with chess is amazing. That a game with a dice and 10 pieces turned into what we know today, chess, Chess would never be here without churanga, WE might not be here if chaturanga wasn’t made; so then the Indians would die out and we wouldn’t be here. Maybe our intelligence wouldn’t be as strong as it is. So that’s why I think chess and how it started is so important.
so next time you play a chess game or set it up, think about what history it’s been through and how it’s made, and most of all how it started.

dare essay

Dear Josh Koch,                                                                                      Mr. Gebauer
Remember Grandpa? The one who suffered from esophageal cancer, which lead to liver cancer, which went to lung cancer, then finally lead to death. He was one of the 400,000 people a year who die from smoking related issues.  Our family still to this point doesn’t know how it all happened, even doctors. But all we do know is that he smoked… for thirty years. Could that be the cause? Most people believe so. Near the end we all said, who cares if he smokes, we know it’s near. So that is how it was put. He was addicted, got cancer, suffered, and then died. That’s how harmful tobacco can be. Cigarettes contain over 400 poisons, and those poisons are highly dangerous and kill people just like you.
It’s hard to believe when you’re a kid that you will ever smoke or take drugs, but peer pressure and your surroundings could influence you. The one thing that is reasonable is that tobacco was a plant. Yes, they sold it for money and thought it wasn’t harmful. But when they found out it was harmful, for all the reasons in the world why didn’t they stop it!? Although a person is not bad if they smoke, their choices are poor. The first drug usually used by a person is tobacco and half of all youthful deaths including drowning, fires and suicide are alcohol related.  Those people made the choice of saying “maybe just one” or “it won’t hurt me” and they ruined their life.
The saddest, worst part is that your most loved ones choose that choice, to abuse their body and life with disgusting drugs and alcohol. Put their life and family in jeopardy, just why. But when they pass we ask ourselves “Why did he choose that? Why didn’t we stop them?” it’s all a matter of intelligence and choice.  Life is full of choices, so make smart ones. Live a life you were made to have not controlled by drugs.
          From,
